HB Tamrakar,New York City, May 22, 2025 — The Nepalese American Law Enforcement Association (NALEA) proudly extends its heartfelt gratitude to photographers Madhav Thapa and Mangale Tamang for their exceptional volunteer service during the Nepal Day Parade 2025.

Their commitment to capturing the spirit and energy of the event through their lenses played a vital role in preserving the memories of this historic day. Madhav Thapa, fondly recognized as the man “between officers” for his immersive and close-up shots, and Mangale Tamang, known for his charismatic presence and warm smile, volunteered their time, skills, and resources to document the vibrant celebration of Nepali heritage in New York City.
As a gesture of sincere appreciation, NALEA will be presenting both photographers with complimentary memberships, official courtesy cards, and certificates of appreciation. These tokens symbolize the association’s deep respect and gratitude for their meaningful contributions.
NALEA’s General Secretary, Hemo Ojha, will personally reach out to both individuals in the coming days to coordinate the formal acknowledgment.
