Virginia, USA – The Non-Resident Nepali Association National Coordination Council (NRNA-NCC) USA has entered a new chapter of leadership with the successful conclusion of its 14th General Assembly and election. Among the newly elected officials, Mr. Raju Shah has proudly assumed the role of Board Director, expressing his deep honor and commitment to serving the Nepali diaspora community across the United States.
In his official statement, Raju Shah extended heartfelt gratitude to the Nepali diaspora for entrusting him with this responsibility. “We are committed to upholding the trust placed in us by the Nepali diaspora in the United States and to advancing the mission of the association with integrity, inclusivity, and dedication,” he affirmed.
Shah emphasized that the newly elected leadership will continue the positive legacy set by its predecessors, while also addressing the evolving needs and aspirations of the Nepali community in the U.S. He highlighted the importance of unity, inclusivity, and purposeful service as guiding principles for the new term.
Acknowledging the contributions that made the general assembly and transition successful, Shah conveyed sincere thanks to NRNA USA President (2023–2025) Dr. Arjun Banjade, the outgoing executive team, Convener Dr. Rajan Pant, Co-convener Mr. Dadi Ram Dhungana, the management team, and Virginia Chapter President Mr. Bishal Karki. Their tireless efforts, he said, ensured a smooth and dignified leadership transition.
He also extended gratitude to distinguished guests including Hon. Surendra Raj Pandey, Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, NRNA ICC officials, former leaders, and all participants who lent their support and encouragement to the event.
Special recognition was given to Mr. Tuk Regmi and Mr. Binod Subedi, who successfully led and managed the election process with fairness and efficiency.
Finally, Shah reserved his warmest appreciation for all voting members: “Your trust is our strength. We are committed to serving with unity and purpose.”
