Kathmandu – On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the National Youth Council under the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of Nepal, honored noted social worker Tabrej Alam for his remarkable contributions to society.
The ceremony was graced by Minister for Youth and Sports Tejulal Chaudhary and Council Chairperson Surendra Basnet. Alam was presented with a special certificate of honor in recognition of his efforts in youth empowerment, social inclusion, and community service.
Addressing the event, Minister Chaudhary stated that youths are the agents of social transformation, and it is the government’s duty to guide and honor their contributions. Similarly, Chairperson Basnet praised Alam’s dedication, saying, “Initiatives led by youth in social service will bring positive changes to our society.”
Expressing gratitude after receiving the honor, Alam said the recognition had further encouraged him to devote himself to social work. He reaffirmed his commitment to empowering young people and continuing campaigns for social transformation in the days ahead.
The National Youth Council has been consistently honoring individuals actively contributing to youth capacity building and social change since its inception.
