San Francisco, CA – Motherland Nepal, a California-based non-profit (501c) organization, has announced that it is seeking new members for its Board of Directors to further expand its mission of cultural preservation, community service, and innovative growth. The organization is inviting dedicated individuals with strong community ties, resources, and leadership qualities to join hands in shaping the future of the Nepalese diaspora in the Bay Area.
Founded with the vision of promoting and preserving Nepali culture, heritage, and traditions, Motherland Nepal has been actively serving the Nepalese community through cultural events, festivals, and community programs. From supporting spiritual leaders to facilitating cultural gatherings at venues like the Mukti Nath Temple in Richmond, CA, the organization has become a unifying force for Nepalese immigrants, refugees, and students in California.
“Motherland Nepal is more than just an organization—it is a home for every Nepali living abroad who wishes to stay connected to their roots,” said Anil Pandey, a key representative of the group. “We are building a platform where our culture is celebrated, our voices are heard, and our youth are inspired to carry forward the rich traditions of Nepal.”
As part of its future vision, Motherland Nepal aims to establish a permanent cultural center in the Bay Area. This center will not only serve as a hub for cultural and religious activities but also provide guidance and resources to new immigrants, international students, and families navigating life in the United States.
By creating spaces for cultural exchange, Motherland Nepal also works to share Nepali traditions with the broader American community, fostering mutual understanding and respect.
With the call for new board members, the organization hopes to strengthen its foundation and empower more leaders to contribute toward building a vibrant, inclusive, and sustainable Nepali community in California.
